    1. BurnerAlert™ is designed to beep and blink at pre-programmed intervals (at 3 minutes, 9 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes 45 minutes and 60 minutes) until the knob is turned to the off position. After one hour, if the knob is not turned off, the pattern is repeated.2. Once you are ready to time your food, turn off the knob to reset your burner alert and then immediately turn your burner back on.3. After each series of beeping, the disc will blink to identify the burner that your are using.

  12.  How often do I need to change the batteries in my BurnerAlert™?

The BurnerAlert™ battery is intended to have a life expectancy of 18 months if the burner is used 30 minutes a day, 365 days a year.

  13. What is BurnerAlert™ and Frequency of Alerts.

    1. Most gas stoves don’t have an indicator to let you know that the burner is ON. Some electric stoves have a small indicator light. However, these electric stoves do not have a sound indicator. BurnerAlert™ is a very thin plastic disc that attaches to your stove/range knob. When the knob is turned ON, the BurnerAlert™ gives off a series of soft beeping tones and a blinking light – both at pre-programmed intervals. When you turn your burner on the BurnerAlert™ produces a series of beeps followed by the disc blinking. This continues until the knob is turned OFF.2. BurnerAlert is the only product on the market that can be attached to your stove knob to REMIND you your burner is on.3. The BurnerAlert was designed to emit audio and visual alerts anytime the stove knob has been turned “ON”. The alerts are a preset sequence of audio beeps and visual blinks. The sequence of alerts will continue until the knob has been turned to the “OFF” position. The beeping intervals occur at startup and then at 3 minutes, 9 minutes, 15 minutes, and then every 15 minutes until the knob is turned OFF. The blinking alert occurs every 7 1/2 minutes.  Each beeping alert is a series of 3 beeps repeated 3 times followed by 30 seconds of blinking.4. For example: If you remove your food from the stove burner after 12 minutes and forget to turn the burner”OFF” the BurnerAlert will emit an audio alert at the preset 15 minute interval and will be followed with 30 seconds of blinking.5.
